Celebrating the Life of: Bienvenido “Benido” Pascua Campos Born on: November 11, 1944 in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines His parents were: Catalino Campos (father) and Maria Campos (mother) He was the 1st of 7 children. Brothers Roger Campos and Melytor; sisters Tessie Lewis, Precy Salvador, Remy Ueda, Florida Badua. He married Helen Domingo Campos on March 3, 1974. They had two daughters, Jessica and Vena Campos. Benido has three grandsons, Austin, Trent and Jace Boy. When he was 20 years old he migrated to Maui, Hawaii to work in the plantation fields. He then moved to Oahu where he lived the rest of his life. He worked as a Mason worker and retired from Albert Kobayashi Inc. company after 20 years of service. One of the many projects he worked on was the University of Hawaii Medical Building in Manoa. Benido was involved at St. Joseph Church in Waipahu and would sometimes serve as an usher during mass. One of his favorite hymns to sing in church is Siksika O Apo. Benido was a very quiet and reserved person. He enjoyed listening to people and preferred to give his input when the topic of conversation was of interest to him. Every day he would go to the gym to exercise and then soak in the hot tub there. He enjoyed going to the Swap Meet to walk around and to see what types of fresh fruits and vegetables plus he liked that there was no tax. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers on the weekends when they would get together for a barbecue and cook their signature dishes – sangkutsar, dinardaraan and pinakbet. Visitation 5:30pm Thursday March 21, 2019 at Valley of The Temples Memorial Chapel. Prayer Service: 6:30pm Also on Friday March 22, 2019 at Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa.
