Bonyen Colunga
Mrs. Serra was one of my favorite instructors at Chaminade University. She was very passionate about teaching, life, and her students' learning and well-being. I fondly remember helping her carry her belongings after class, as the hilly campus was a struggle, even for young college students. We stayed in touch even after completing her course and she was generous to take me to eat Thai food; she shared about her life and her wisdom.
I am sad to know of your departure from this life, Mrs. Serra, and I am so sorry I missed the opportunity to say my farewell and honor your life at your service. So I shall let you know that you were and always will be dear to me, as you've made a positive impact on my life and I shall forever be grateful. Love you,
