Abraham Laciste Vallente's Obituary
Abraham “Abe" or "Abra" Laciste Vallente, Sr., 71 of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Queen’s Medical Center - West.
He was born on September 15, 1946 to father, Eusebio Vallente and mother, Francisca (Agonoy) Vallente, in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Abraham worked as a machinist for Dole Cannery for over 25 years and also was a maintenance worker for Mililani Golf Course.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melita Casison Vallente; son Abraham (Coral) Vallente, Jr.; daughters, Marcy (Jerry) Luczon and Aimee Vallente; five grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Macadangdang, Maura Viernes, Alissa (Marc) Sabate, Ann Janette (Marc) Mendoza; brothers, Carlito (Perlita) Laciste, Ronald Vallente, Airwine (Cyndi) Vallente; numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life and wake service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (Kaneohe); visitation from 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa Church (712 North School St., Honolulu, HI 96817); visitation to begin at 10:00 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m. and burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park (Kaneohe).
