Aitu Maugaotega “Papa”, a retired Security Officer was born on May 24, 1943 in American Samoa. His parents were Filipo and Liliko Maugaotega he was the youngest of six children. Aitu married his lovely wife Ivoga on January 4, 1969, they both raised 8 beautiful children in the heart of Kalihi Valley. Papa was sent home to become a guardian angel on Dec 17, 2014.
He is survived by wife Ivoga Maugaotega, sons Faimafili (Kimberly) Maugaotega, Mino (Marzie) Maugaotega, Aitu Maugaotega, Fusi Maugaotega, Phillip Maugaotega, daughters Laina Tuilona, Trina (Ioane) Tovio, Losa Maugaotega, 15 grandchildren and 4 great grand children.
