Albert Kam Duck Wong's Obituary
Albert Kam Duck Wong,88, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away at home on May 24, 2019. He was born in Canton, China and came to Hawaii at the age of 6. He is a graduate of McKinley High School and after a career of 33 years as an Electronic Technician at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, he retired in 1986 but continued with his part-time business as a television repairman. He was an active member of Wong Kong Har Tong and the Hololo Club where he got to socialize and eat out at various restaurants every month. Albert loved to watch sports, especially UH games and golf.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sally Wong; daughters, Linda Wong, Leona (Stanford) Higuchi, Lynette (Frank) Okamura, Pamela (Dominic) Carrejo; grandchildren, Benjamin and Sydni Carrejo; sister, Rose Palmer of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary. Visitation at 9:30 am and Memorial Service will begin at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Cemetery in the Eternal Love Garden #6 at 2:00 pm.
