Uncle Al was an interesting man. It was a pleasure to be a part of his life; and get to know him. Uncle Al was a man of extraordinary faith. He knew GOD and knew that GOD was peace. On countless occasions; uncle Al would share memories of his sons Al Jr, John, Mikey and his wife Aunty Sharon whom preceded him in death. He spoke of outings, places they ate; and times shared with family and friends. He spoke of the countless times that he drove Grandma Alma to and from her appointments and church functions and that he enjoyed her company and every bit of time spent with her. It seemed that Grandma Alma was a comfort to him in many ways. He enjoyed eating at Mitsuken, eating fish, and of course his all time favorite eating oxtail soup. In every conversation he had it would always end with a shaka being thrown and a smile. In the end of his life Uncle Al made things right with his heart, mind and soul and passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones. Uncle Al taught me that everyone deserves a second chance and I will forever be grateful. Thank You Uncle Al for all you did for my family and I. We love you Uncle Al and will always stay in our heart!
