January 6th, 1957 - June 22nd, 2025
Today, we celebrate the vibrant life of Andrew Martin Norstadt, a hardworking and generous soul whose kindness and support touched everyone he met.
Born on January 6th, 1957, in Spokane, Washington, Andrew embodied responsibility and a strong work ethic from an early age. His passion for storytelling led him to embark as a newspaper reporter and editor at the Bellingham Herald.
Andrew's greatest joy was his family. He shared a beautiful life with his devoted spouse, Donna Marie Norstadt. Together, they nurtured a family filled with love and laughter, raising five wonderful children: sons Wesley Norstadt, Christopher Block, Virgil Block, and daughters Johanna Jacob and Kimah Dewitt-Norstadt. His dear brother, Paul Norstadt, was also a cherished part of his life. He cherished the moments he spent with his 7 grandchildren as well.
Known for his kindness and generosity, Andrew was always there to offer a helping hand. His supportive nature and warm heart left a lasting impact on his community and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
As we remember Andrew, we choose to celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the joyful memories he leaves behind. Though he passed away on June 22nd, 2025, in Wahiawa, Hawaii, his legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire us all.
