Arestedes Villa Lorenzo's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Arestedes Villa Lorenzo also known as Ares or Iris, born August 31, 1950 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. To Gaudencio R. Salvador and Susana P. Villa. She was the first child out of 8, lived in Honolulu and Waipahu and attended Waipahu High School, Class of 1968. After attending Waipahu High school she proceeded to earn her Associates degree at Cannon’s Business College. Following graduation she began her career as a payroll specialist at Pearl Harbor, U.S. Navy, and a U.S. Customs Aide at the Honolulu International Airport. She retired in 2005 after serving 30 years. Arestedes was an active member of St. Joseph Church Waipahu as a Eucharistic Minister of the Holy Communion, a Lector/Commentator, a CCD Teacher, and she was a part of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services Prayer Group. She was a kind, nice, loving, cheerful, and faithful person. Her most important events were the marriage to her husband, Adriano Lorenzo Jr., on September 25, 1971 at St. Elizabeth Church, the birth of her twin daughters, and her retirement where she could enjoy spending time with her family and friends. Arestedes enjoyed country music, The Carpenters, Gladys Knight, Barry Manillow, and Elvis Presley. She is survived by her daughter, Jerilynn I Lorenzo; mother, Susana V. Salvador; brothers, Ricardo V. (Aileen) and Robert V. (Julie) Salvador; sisters, Susan S. (Eldon) Macarayan, Melinda S. (Alan) Emmel, and Dorothy S. (Arnel) Espinosa; nephews, Eric Emmel and Tristan Tipton; nieces, Ann Macarayan, Jade Salvador, Noelle Espinosa, and Maria (Brandon) Tipton. Pre-deceased by her husband, Adriano Lorenzo Jr.; daughter, Adrienne M. Lorenzo; father, Gaudencio R. Salvador; brothers, Raymond V. and George V. Salvador; niece, Lindsey Espinosa.
Her services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:30a.m.-11:00a.m. Service will begin at 11:00a.m. with Mass to follow. Burial will be at 1:00p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park
