Arthur Keawe Gorai's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Arthur Keawe Gorai, born March 20, 1934 in Kahana, Hawaii. His parents were Tsuneji Gorai and Margaret Aleka. He was the youngest out of 7children. He attended Kahuku Intermediate and High School. Where he earned his High School Diploma. After graduation he joined the United States Army then retired as a Truck Driver for the City and County Government. A very humble, steadfast, caring, provider and diligent man. Passed away on Saturday September 28, 2013 in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Married Evelyn on June 13, 1960. Some of his most important events in his life were his marriage and his family. His favorite hobbies and past times included diving for squid, sports volleyball and basketball. His favorite music to listen to were Nat-King Cole, Patsy Kline, Elvis, and Patti Paige just to name a few. He is survived by wife, Evelyn Gorai; sons, Clifford (Marjorie) and Clement Gorai; daughters, Arleila (Mike) Andrade and Arnel (Ron Skaggs) Gorai; brother, Clinton Gorai; sister, Beatrice Soga; 6 grandsons, Chad, Bricen, Creighton, Garrison Gorai, Micah and Aaron Andrade; one granddaughter, Loea Andrade
His services will be on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Church of Jesus Christ of LDS-Kaneohe. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00a.m.., Service will begin at 11:30a.m.; burial, 1:00p.m. at Valley of The Temples Memorial Park
