Barbara Jean Oshiro, 88, of Kapolei, Hawaii, passed away on December 03, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. She was a housewife, but also drove for Kailua Local Bus Company. Barbara is survived by her son, Norman Oshiro, Jr.; daughters, Marylou (Bo) Koanui and Joann (Carl) Roth;7 Grandchildren (Misty Mendoza, JR (Neal) Oshiro-Koanui ,
Kanani (Keola) Santana-Koanui,
Jonalyn Cariaga, Thomas “Ikaika” Cariaga, Keenan (Kayla) Danielson and Tifanie Roth); 11 Great-Grandchildren (Tyann Bright, Dr. Tyler (Jordan) Bright, Tylee Bright, Kazian Koanui, Keani Santana-Koanui, Cassidy Chang,
Kadin Sayegusa, Savannah Cariaga, Kyler Danielson, River Roth and Kalea Danielson; and 3 Great Great-Grandsons (Saint Reis, Roscoe Reis and Kairo Reis); sister Mildred Chambrella and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on January 23, 2026 at Valley of the Temple -Trousdale Chapel . Visitation will be at 9am and service will begin at 10am.
Casual attire suggested.
