He proudly served as a United States Army veteran and went on to become a successful business owner providing accounting services, showcasing his responsible nature and dedication. Bill's love for hunting, fishing, and exploring nature was infectious, and his vast knowledge of Hawaiian history enriched the lives of all who knew him.
Bill was a devoted husband to his spouse, Hycarty, and a loving father to his sons: Ricky (Melanie), Murrice, Roland (Elena), and August (Kimberly). Cherished by his sister, Patricia, brother, Dennis and hanai daughter, Charelle. Forever loved by his 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
On July 1, 2025, Bill passed away in Hilo, Hawaii, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and a zest for life that continues to inspire. Let us honor his memory by embracing adventure, cherishing the outdoors, and celebrating the vibrant life he lived.
