Brandy Noelani Mie Tiogangco's Obituary
Brandy Noelani Mie Tiogangco, 44, of Hilo, Hawaiʻi, was called home on July 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of her ʻohana.
Born and raised in Hilo, Brandy was a proud graduate of Hilo High School and Kapiʻolani Community College. She dedicated her career to the family business, Big Island Delights, where her hard work and aloha touched countless lives in the community and beyond.
Brandy will be lovingly remembered for the way she brought people together—most often through her incredible cooking, warm hospitality, and unwavering dedication to her ʻohana. She had a heart for nurturing others and rightfully earned the title of best aunty and mom. We will miss the joy of simply being around her—her effortless warmth, her contagious laughter, and the way she always made others feel seen and cared for.
Brandy is survived by her son, Braden Oda, and stepdaughter, Lexi Oda; her mother, Anne Tiogangco (Tim Lerma); sister, Melissa Leinaʻala Moniz (Kimo Todd); brothers, Jordan Ikaika Tiogangco (Jennifer Tobosa) and Shawn Kaipo Tiogangco (Leanne Hanagami); and nieces, Taylor Moniz, Kylie Moniz, Blayke Tiogangco, and Carter Tiogangco. She is also fondly cherished by many beloved aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended ʻohana. Brandy is now reunited in heaven with her father, Jordan Tiogangco.
A celebration of Brandy’s life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at The Arc of Hilo. Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
