Carissa A Carmichael's Obituary
Carissa A Carmichael, 34, of Murrieta, California passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017. She was born on February 4, 1982 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a Special Education Teacher of Oak Grove Center in Murrieta, California and she graduated high school in 2000. Carissa received a Heart Transplant in 2001 and became an Ambassador for One Legacy and rode in the Rose Bowl Parade on Donate Life Inaugural float in 2004. Carissa was passionate for all children with disabilities. Her biggest joy was becoming an auntie to her nephew, Jack.
She is survived by her paternal grandparents, Joyce and Clyde Johnson; parents, Robert and Susan Carmichael; sister, Robyn Seibel; brother-in-law, Derek; nephew, Jack; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Elizabeth Jackson; and cousin, Nathan Jackson.
Memorial Services for Carissa will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Byodo-In Temple Scattering Wall starting 11:30 am.
