Cheo Lu's Obituary
Cheo Lu, 97, of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. He was born on December 31, 1920 in Canton, China. He was born and raise in Canton, China, he traveled to Vietnam at 22 years old in search of farm work. A few years later he got married and became the owner of a fishing company. Then in 1992, after retiring he immigrated to the United States of America and spent the rest of his wonderful life with his families and friends in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Cheo is survived by his wife, Ky Tien Tran; his four sons and their wives; his five daughters and their husbands; 29 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary - Downtown Chapel, 20 S Kukui Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 on Saturday, April 29, 2017 beginning at 9:30 am until 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, 47-200 Kahekili Hwy, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744 at 2:30 pm.
Family requests no monetary donation but flower donations are welcomed.
Attire requested is Semi-Formal.
