Clemente T. Aurelio's Obituary
Clemente T. Aurelio, 78, died Thursday Oct. 2 at Avalon Care Center.
Clem was born Nov. 21, 1935 in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Lupo and Consuelo Aurelio (deceased).
In 1958, Clem graduated from the Ilocos Norte Normal School, now Mariano Marcos State University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Clem completed his Master’s Degree in Education at Northwestern College, now Northwestern University, Philippines.
Clemente worked as a grade school teacher in various towns in Nueva Viscaya and Ilocos Norte, and retired as a school Principal in 1985. Clem migrated to the United States and worked as a church custodian at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wilmington, CA. from 1985-1995. Clem eventually joined the family in Hawaii, worked at Rattan Man and Times Supermarket and retired in 2001.
Clemente is survived by his wife Nenita and their children Roy, Rico, Rosanno and Roselle, sisters Freding, Poly, Cora, Tonette, Vennie and Marie, brothers Alfonso and Manny, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson
Clem was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Margaret, sisters Fe and Aleta and brother Victor
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 21 at 5:30p at the Diamond Head Mortuary in Honolulu. Church Services will be held Wednesday, October 22 at 9:30a- 10:45 and a Mass at 11am at Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa.
Interment at the Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe at 1p
