Concepcion "Chita" Garcia Prado's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Concepcion “Chita” Garcia Prado, born December 8, 1945 in Poblacion, Calasiao, Pangasinan, Philippines where she lived until she came to Hawaii in 1997. Her parents were Francisco Garcia and Rosario Feleciano. Passed away on Friday October 4, 2013 in Aiea, Hawaii. She was the youngest out of 3 children. She attended Calasiao High School, Dagupan Colleges University of Pangasinan. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Education. After graduation she began her career as a Teacher. She married Rolando N. Prado on October 7, 1968 at Florida Blanca Pampanga Philippines. She was a Coffee Packer with Hawaii Coffee Company. She was a very loving, patient, good listener, caring, and supportive person. Concepcion loved to cook and watch T.V. series. She is survived by husband, Rolando Prado; son, Neil (Wilma) Prado; daughters, Mary Jane Prado and Cherry (Arnaldo) Mampusti; brother, Dr. Asterio Garicia; 5 grandchildren, Nelma Cyrenz, Sophia Wiacy, Yvan Miguel and Jorlan; preceded in death by brother, Sindulfo Garcia.
Her services will be on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at St. Philomena Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30a.m., service will begin at 11:30a.m.; burial to follow at 2pm at Valley of The Temples Memorial Park.
