Cristina C. Agbayani's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Cristina Agbayani, born July 15, 1915 in Abkir Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Where she lived until 1970. Her parents were Santiago Calumpit and Micaela Agpaoa. She was the youngest of 7 children. She attended Salpad Elementary School in the Philippines. After graduation she began her career in agriculture. She lived on Houghtailing St. as a homemaker. She was married to Primitivo Agbayani in the 1930’ in Vintar Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She was a devoted catholic who prayed daily and put her faith in God above everything else. Her most important events were coming to Hawaii in the 1970’s and in 1977 when her family reunited and made Hawaii their home. She loved sewing, watching wrestling and babysitting. She was a very charismatic, humble, giving and easy going person. She was survived by her son, Arturo (Lita) Agbayani; daughter, Maggie Agbayani and Nena (Eddie) Cadavona, granddaughter, Cathy (Vernon) Wong; 3 great-grandchildren Joshua, Christopher and Matthew Wong.
Her services will be held on Friday November 15, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-6:30p.m. and services will begin at 6:30p.m.; additional visitation the following day 9:00-10:30a.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park-Chapel. Services will begin at 10:30a.m.; burial 12noon at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park
