David Kaiena “Honey Boy” Bishaw
85, of Pearl City died July 16, 2014. He was a member of the (SUP) Sailors Union of the Pacific for 45 years. Employed with Matson Navigation for many years. He was a remarkable husband, father, papa and world traveler. He never let his family down.
Survived by brother, Alexander Bishaw; daughters, Beth Leialoha Bishaw Mokiao, Margaret Lepeka Makekau, Iwalani Enriques, Lavon Respicio; sons, David II and Russel Phifer; two hanai grandsons; 27 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, July 31 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Pearl City 2nd Ward, Newtown Chapel; service 11:00 a.m.; burial 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
