Demetrio Tamayo Galace's Obituary
Demetrio Tamayo Galace, 82, of Waipahu, Hawaii passed away August 7, 2023. He was born in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by his wife, Erlinda, two daughters, Demelyn Johnson and Mary-Ruth (Lesly) Manding, two sisters, Florence Bautista and Lydia Champagne, brother, William Galace, and 3 grandchildren- Ethan, Naomi and Aria Manding.
He moved to Oahu in 1973 and initially worked as a laborer. He then changed careers and worked for the Carpenters Union. Later, he changed careers once again and moved to Keaau, Hawaii to become a papaya and noni farmer.
Demetrio was a much loved husband, father, and papa and will always be missed.
Services will be held at Mililani Memorial Makai Chapel on Tuesday October 17th at 5pm with continuing services on Wednesday October 18th at 9am followed by burial at Valley of the Temples at 1pm.
