Edmund T Salas' Obituary
Edmund T Salas, 76, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. He was born on September 15, 1941 on the beautiful island of Oahu in Hawaii. He was the first in the state to start Hawaii’s first self-help program. He helped design Key Project and oversaw the construction. He was married to Faith Van Epps.
Edmund is survived by his wife, Faith Van Epps; children; Wayne Salas, Mark Salas, and Nora Aiu; grandchildren, Joseph-Anthony Salas, Jacob-Aaron Salas, Brayden Salas, Shaun Salas, Troy Salas, Mahea Salas, Kylie Aiu, and Amber Aiu; great-grandchildren, Makoakane Salas and Braxton Salas; siblings, Edward Troche, Joseph Flores, Lucille Lopez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Edmund will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Borthwick Mortuary Mauna Kea Chapel starting at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 2:00 pm.
Interment Location: Chapel Hill
