Elisa M. Sonico's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Elisa Mercado Sonico, born February 2, 1917 in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She was married to Anacleto Serrano Sonico. Passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Elisa was a homemaker. A member of Iglesia Ni Christo Church. Some of her most important events were getting Parents of the Year in 1973 Cabugao Institute and traveled to the mainland USA, Canada, Europe, Alaska and Philippines. She was a very energetic, loving, determined person. Elisa loved meeting with friends and going to church. She is survived by sons, Faustino and Juanito (Nora) Sonico; daughters, Angela (Rudolfo) Siruno, Cornelia (Edgar) Andaya, Emiliana (Dominador) Rulloda and Rosa (Audito) Ibon; brother, Hildo (Augustina) Mercado; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Her services will be on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:00a.m.., service will begin at 10:00a.m.; burial to follow at 1:00p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park
