Celebrating the Life of Escolastica F. Anno
February 10th, 1934 – January 25th, 2026
We celebrate the beautiful life of Escolastica F. Anno, a woman remembered for being kind, hardworking, humble, and compassionate. Her 91 years leave a lasting example of grace and steady joy.
Born on February 10th, 1934 in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, Escolastica carried her early lessons of faith and family wherever life led her. She entered eternal rest on January 25th, 2026 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu.
Family stood at the heart of every day for her, from gatherings with loved ones to regular worship at St. Theresa Church. Friends still smile recalling her ballroom dances with her late husband, Franklin S. Anno, moments that showed their warmth and shared delight.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Annie Lynn Anno, Jeannette Petersen, Wayne Anno, and Frank Anno. Her joy extended to her grandchildren Joshua Petersen, Natasha Peterson, Cherrylita Anno Castedio, and Anjolie Anno.
Escolastica’s life also touched her siblings Placida Fontejon, Baltazar Fontejon, Esther Rusidi, Eduardo Fontejon, Jessie Fontejon, Margarita Formoso, and Segundina Agpaoa. Each one carries forward the simple strength she showed through every act of care.
Today we remember her bright spirit and give thanks for the kindness she shared. May her example guide us to live with the same gentle courage and open heart.
