Faustino M. Paulino Sr.'s Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Faustino Manuel Paulino, Sr., 78, a retired assistant housekeeper at the Moana Surfrider Hotel, passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 28, 2014.
He was born in Barrio No. 5, Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Luis Valeros Paulino and Tomasa Agor Manuel; he was the oldest of five children. He married Clarita Rosas Tagari in May 1960 in Sarrat, Philippines.
He loved tending to his garden, watching UH sports, going to Las Vegas, watching Jeopardy and listening to contemporary music. He truly loved his grandchildren and loved buying them or treating them to snacks after their school days.
He is survived by his loving wife, Clarita Tagari Paulino; son, Faustino (Arsenia) Manuel Paulino, Jr.; daughters, Gladys (Richard) Zamora and Rouella Victoria (Ross) Tilitile; eight grandchildren, Kristine Grace Zamora, Amber Nicole Zamora, Ryan-Thomas Paulino, Joshua Lawrence Zamora, Chelsi-Tamara Paulino, Kaitlin Nalani Tilitile, Aaron-Nicholas Paulino and Kiana Marie Tilitile; brother, Andres (Hai) Manuel Paulino, Sr.
Visitation for his wake service will be held 5:30-9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church; with prayer service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation for his funeral service will be 9:00-9:45 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2014 also at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church; with Mass to begin at 10:00 a.m. and burial to follow 11:30 a.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
