Ferdinand "Peding" Tubana Bermudes' Obituary
Ferdinando “Peding” Tubana Bermudes, 81 of Honolulu Hawaii, passed away on November 8, 2018 at his residence in Honolulu. He was born to parents, Mauricio and Elena Bermudes in Nagtupacan, Abra Philippines on May 31, 1937. He married the love of his life, Virginia, on January 6, 1972 in Camiling Tarlac Philippines. They both moved to Oahu where they resided in Honolulu for many years. Peding retired as a Machine Operator for the Dole Can Plant.
Peding is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia “Virgie” Bermudes; daughters, Jennifer Anne (Rodante) Baysa, Emily Bermudes; son, Freddie (Alila) Bermudes; 8 grandchildren, Jennel Baysa, Jadon Baysa, Charles Ong, Blake Ong, Angelica Ong, Aldon Bermudes, Elias Bermudes, Aiden Bermudes; sisters, Amelita (Romeo) Simon, Magdalena Bermudes; and sister-in-law, Maria Bermudes. Peding was preceded in death by his brother, Marcelo Bermudes, and parents, Elena and Mauricio Bermudes.
Funeral services for Peding will be on Saturday December 29, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church (640 Puuhale Rd, Honolulu, HI 96819). Visitation will be at 9:00 am; program at 9:45 am with Mass to begin at 10:30 am. There will be a burial to follow at 1:00 pm at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
