Francisco Lasaten Alcantara's Obituary
Francisco Lasaten "Kiko" Alcantara, 82, of Waipahu, passed away March 25, 2016. Born in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on June 13, 1933 to parents Benito Alcantara and Tomasa Lasaten Alcantara, he was a retired landscaper and former Farinas Trans driver in the Philippines. He was preceded in death by parents Benito and Tomasa Alcantara; children, Angelita and Emmanuel Alcantara; brothers, Pablo, Gregorio and Eugenio Alcantara.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Macaria "Caring" Alcantara; sons, Danilo (Eunice) Alcantara, Norman (Wilma) Alcantara, Nelson Alcantara, Francisco (Cathy) Alcantara, Jr. and Benito (Mayrose) Alcantara; daughters, Lolita (Reynaldo) Peralta, Divina (Charlie) Ramos, Vivian (Mario) Pajimola, Jesusa (Cyprus Salinas) Alcantara and Marita Alcantara; brother, Santiago Alcantara; sister, Romana Ragas; twenty-six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; wake service 7:00 p.m. A second visitation is from 9:15-11:15 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (229 Queen Emma Square, Honolulu). Mass is at 11:15 a.m. with burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers are welcome.
