Gary Kong's Obituary
Gary Kong, 78 of Kaneohe, Hawaii is a former employee of Oahu Transit Services(TheBus) at the Kalihi Transit Center where he was a storeroom clerk for over 30 years has passed away on August 25, 2025. He is the eldest child of Tillie Young. He is survived by his wife Luana Morris-Kong, sons Dennis Kaliko Morris(Tasha), Frank Kong(Mia) and Danny Kong, daughter Luary Kong(Grant), grand daughters Krissie Morris(Kama), Brachia Tadaki(Kamu) and Kharley Ichiki, grandsons Kacen Morris, Aiden Castro-Kong, Peyton Castro-Kong, Kaynen Kong, Easton Kong and Ka’i Kitayama, great granddaughter Azriel Tausaga and great grandson Azai Tausaga, sister Karen Nakahashi(Rick) and many, many more family and friends.
Gary is a great man, so loving and kind, he has a heart of gold, always happy and smiling, he’s someone you could always depend on…he’s a true warrior of God!!! He’s the best husband, father, papa, Pop-Pop, uncle and friend that anyone could ever ask for…he will be missed deeply, always remembered and he’ll live on, forever in our hearts!!!
Visitation: 9:30am; Service: 10:30am on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Anchor Church in Kaneohe.
