Born on August 7th, 1941, George was a proud graduate of Farrington High School. In 1967, he began his honorable service to his country, achieving the rank of E4/SP4 during his deployment in Vietnam.
After his military service, George dedicated his talents as a General Contractor at GY Murashige Contractor Inc. His patience and supportive nature were evident in both his professional and personal life.
George's passion for outdoor activities shone brightly in his love for fishing and camping with his family. These joyful moments created cherished memories that will forever warm our hearts.
He was a loving father to his daughters Tanya Murashige and Tiffany Matias, a proud grandfather to Travis Somera, Cydnee Somera, Allene (Ally) Somera, K-Ci Murashige, Dakota Murashige, Jomar (JT) Matias, Alora Matias, and great-grandfather to Hailey Leandro-Somera, Riley Leandro-Somera, and Kaeley Leandro-Somera. George was also a devoted husband to his late wife, Inez Dawn Murashige, and cherished his son-in-law Jomar Matias.
George's legacy of kindness, support, and loyalty will continue to inspire us all. As we remember his vibrant spirit, let us celebrate his life by embracing the joyful memories we shared and the values he held dear.
