Glorina Vallente Ricardo's Obituary
Glorina “Loring” Vallente Ricardo, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away December 14, 2017 at Pali Momi Medical Center. Born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on July 7, 1940 to parents Alejandro Vallente and Carmen Bolosan Vallente, Loring was a retired custodian at the University of Hawaii Manoa Campus where she was employed for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Rufino F. Ricardo.
Loring is survived by her children, Richard Ricardo, Jesse (Janet) Ricardo, Eldon (Elizabeth) Ricardo, Laela (Renato) Guerrero and Maylei (Dean) Antolin; nine grandchildren; brothers, Henry (Teresita) Valiente and Orlando Valiente; sisters, Adelina Molina and Irinea (Remegio) Guillermo.
Wake services for Glorina will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 6:30 p.m. An additional service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018, again at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary with visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m.
