Gregory Eugene Genenbacher's Obituary
Gregory Eugene Genenbacher of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away in the early morning on September 5, 2022, at his home with his wife, Laura by his side and daughter, Kam, nearby.
Greg was born December 18, 1956 in Quincy, Illinois to Robert E Genenbacher and Dorothy Jean Bower Genenbacher.
He was married to Laura Chin-Leong on March 24, 1993 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Laura; father, Bob and second mother, Barb; children Khamsin Tahiri, Kristen Pruitt, and Cory Truex; step-brothers Brent Toole and Mike Toole.
Greg was preceeded in death by his mother Dorothy Genenbacher, paternal grandparents Louis and Helen Genenbacher, maternal grandparents Henry Clay and Edith Bower, and Grace Kirk.
Greg enlisted into the Air Force right out of high school. He served 10 years active duty and 10 years in the Air Force Reserve. He worked Inventory Control at Maui Divers Jewelry Stores until his early retirement in 2018, due to ill health.
