Imelda Langit Calixterio's Obituary
Imelda “Emy” Perez Langit Calixterio, 76, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016. She was the second of seven children born to Fortunato D. Langit and Josefina Perez on November 22, 1939 in Poblacion Laoac, Pangasinan, Philippines. She was a homemaker.
She attended Arellano High School located in Metro Manila, Philippines.
She married Aurelio Calixterio on March 23, 1964 in Laoac, Pangasinan, Philippines. She was a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo Church.
She enjoyed shopping, cooking, cleaning, walking, and going out to spend time with her best friends.
The events that were significant in her life was her marriage to her husband, Aurelio, moving and living in Hawaii, the birth of her children and grandchildren, and her 76th birthday before she passed.
She will be remembered as a patient, loving and caring person who will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Aurelio Paet Calixterio; sons, Froilan C. Calixterio and Edwin C. Calixterio; daughters, Eleanor C. Langit and Laarni C. Robino; brothers, Jamison “Jimmy” Langit and Primitivo Langit, Jr.,; sisters, Paquita Lolita Pugal, Jedysia Amos and Brenda Amos; 11 grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Calixterio will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation will be from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. with wake service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Valley of the Temples Chapel (located at 47-200 Kahekili Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow 11:00 a.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
Interment Location: Holy Cross 2/1, Lot 76, D-1
