Jacquelyne Renee Kaleihua Bogac Moore's Obituary
Jacquelyne “Jackie” R.K.B. Moore of Makakilo, O’ahu passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2026. Jackie was born on June 21, 1968 in Honolulu, O’ahu to Sylvia J. Toro and James R.K. Bogac. She is the sister of John Bogac II and Lisa Hookano. Jackie was the loving wife to the late Larry C. Moore and is the proud mother to all her children: Delawrence Moore, Christabelle Felix, Jessica Bogac-Moore, Kristopher Passion, Christina Bogac-Moore and 5 grandchildren. She also leaves behind countless extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
Jackie was a woman whose generosity knew no limits and whose compassion touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She gave freely of her time, her trust, and her aloha, always putting the needs of others before her own. Whether it be offering a warm meal, a place to lay their heads, a listening ear, or a comforting embrace, she made people feel welcomed, valued, and loved.
Life presented Jackie with many challenges, yet she met each one with remarkable courage even though she may have been scared, determination even though she may have been weary, and often with a sense of humor even if the situation may have been grim. Through hardship and adversity, she remained steadfast, having faith that there will be sunshine on the other side of heavy rains. Above all else, she was a devoted mother, aunty, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy came from her family who she loved unconditionally. The values she instilled—kindness, generosity, resilience, and to always try your best—will continue to guide those she leaves behind.
