Jonathan Mark Beteta's Obituary
Jonathan Mark Beteta, 61, returned to his loving Heavenly Father on Monday, April 15, 2019 at his home in Laie. Jonathan was born in Los Angeles, California and was one of five children born to Marco Antonio Beteta & Lillian Mitsuko Hori. While his family remained in the continental U.S., Jon moved to Hawaii and relocated in Laie while working as Head Auditor for The Turtle Bay Resort found on the beautiful North Shore of O’ahu. Jonathan is survived by Sisters: Marie “Vicky” Wozniak, Merri Vitacek & Rebecca Griffith; Brother: Timothy Beteta and numerous nieces & nephews. Those who know Jon can attest to his perpetual smile and upbeat personality, and that genuine “Aloha” he had for all will be sorely missed. Family will be remembering and celebrating Jonathan’s life at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Laie Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 55-415 Iosepa Steet Laie, HI 96762. Private scattering of ashes will be held by family at a later date.
