Lam Thongsonlone's Obituary
Our beloved mother, LAM THONGSONLONE gained her wings to be with the good lord. At the time of her passing, she was 61 years young. She is now free for eternity, and no longer has to suffer. Her passing was on March 4, 2024, and was peaceful at a hospital, leaving behind her former husband, 2 children and 4 grand children.
For those that know her, LAM THONGSONLONE was well liked in the Lao community and within her family from Hawaii, Laos and in Thailand. She traveled from Thailand with her then husband, and went through the refugee camp process and was able to make it here to the USA in order to seek a better life for her children. While here, she made everyone smile, touched people’s lives with a heart that constantly gives. If she had money, she would let you have so that you can get your small groceries and food for your family. She never had much while spending most her life in Hawaii, but she enjoyed people’s company, dancing, singing and would not hesitate to cook you her best meal in the kitchen. She has a passion for cooking, and acquired these skills while living in the province of Thailand prior to her gateway to America. She was able to pass her passion to her beloved daughter, Mali where she will continue her legacy.
