Manera, Lolita's Obituary
With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Lolita M. Manera, a devoted wife, cherished mother, beloved grandmother, and proud great-grandmother, who peacefully departed this life on May 30, 2025, at the age of 94, on the beautiful island of Oʻahu.
Born on January 6, 1931, in Sidiran, Dingras, Philippines, Lolita lived a life marked by grace, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. Her journey took her across oceans, but her heart remained rooted in the values of kindness, faith, and service to others.
Lolita was the heart of her family — a guiding light whose warmth and wisdom touched everyone she met. She poured her love into every role she held as a nurturing mother, a supportive wife, a doting grandmother, and a joyful great-grandmother. Her home was always filled with laughter, delicious food, and the comforting presence of her gentle spirit.
She is survived by her two sons, Genaro Manera and William Manera. Also 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A Viewing and Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Valley of the Temples Makai Chapel. Burial will follow at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
Lolita’s memory will be forever treasured by her family and friends, near and far. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed.
