Manuela Estavillo Valdez, 91, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Nuuanu Hale, in Honolulu. She was born to Teodoro Estavillo and Cristeta Carmen on October 12, 1924 in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She was a homemaker
She is survived by her sons, Isidro (Luz Ganotice) Valdez, Doroteo (Marilyn Barayuga) Valdez, and Wilben (Rhea Ordinado) Valdez; daughters, Lydia (Melecio) Valdez Carpio, Fely Valdez Baluyot, Rosie (Nestor) Valdez Luis and Maribel (Rogelio) Valdez Montero; adopted sons, Christopher (Jean Dologmandin) Valdez, Michael John (Liwliwa Delos Santos) Valdez and R-Nel John (Elaine Managan) Valdez; 19 grandchildren, Glenda P. (Allan) Soliven, May P. (Shawn) Dean, Elyser V. (Michelle M.) Carpio, Kathleen V. C. (Scott) Bussell, Eilyn V. (Lester) Corpuz, Albert G. (Zahyra R.) Valdez, FeyAnn G. Valdez, JoAnn B. Preceded in death by daughter, Matildita V. Pagala and son-in-law, Jojo Baluyot.
Services for Mrs. Valdez will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation will be from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. with wake service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa (located at 712 North School Street Honolulu, Hawaii 96817); Mass at 11:00 a.m., with a burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
Interment Location: Holy Cross 2/1, Lot 178, D-1. 1st DIP.
