Maria Abanto Bacani's Obituary
Maria Abanto Bacani, 92, a resident of Waipahu, Oahu passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Born to Mariano Abanto and Vicenta Calamaan in Ewa Beach, Hawaii on April 1, 1924. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Avelino Bacani, Raymundo Bacani, Federico Bacani, Jr., Ernesto Bacani and Nestor Bacani; daughters, Marilou Manuel, Teresita Balon and Marites Bacani; brothers, Castulo Abanto and Pedro Agmata; sisters, Margarita Abanto and Esperanza Bolibol; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
Services for Maria will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel (located at, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); Visitation from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.; Wake Service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Additional service Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at St. Philomena Catholic Church (located at, 3300 Ala Laulani Street Honolulu, Hawaii 96818); visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Mass to begin at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow 11:30 a.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
Interment: Located at Chapel Hill #8, Lot 736, C-1
