Maria Corazon F. Pascua Luna, 52, of Queens, NY died in Bronx, NY at the Cavalry Hospital after 5 years of bravely fighting Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Maria was born on November 5, 1960 in Pinili, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Bernardino and Pacita Pascua.
Maria, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and dear sister, was called Cora by her family. A selfless, strong, and beautiful woman, she was admired by all the people in her life. Maria brought joy to anybody she who met. As a devout Christian, she inspired those around her with her unwavering faith through her final days. She is survived by her husband, Ruben (Jun) Luna; daughter, Leana-Paulette (Lelet) Luna; brothers, Emilio (Boy) Pascua, Alejandro (Andy) Pascua; sisters, Norma Pascua, Teodora (Dory) Pascua, Maribeth (Beth) Pascua, Emilia (Baby) Pagdilao, Moding Anthony, Tessie Pascua Arrogante, Magdalena (Magda) McIntosh; mother, Pacita Pascua; and many extended relatives living in Oahu and New York.
Her Inurnment service will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, 10:30 am at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park
