Celebrating the Life of Maria Patricia Baligad Quibuyen "Pating", 93, who passed away in Daly City, California on July 4, 2014. She was born in Mabusag, Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on March 17, 1921 to Bernardino Baligad and Candida Gamatero. She was formerly of Honolulu, Hawaii and resided in San Francisco, California. She was a retired Hawaiian Regent Hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by her Children: Rose Panlasigui, Janet Baldugo (Edwin), Danny Quibuyen,Sr. (Brenda), Myrna Lynn Vergara (Policarpio, Jr.), Jerry Quibuyen (Lalaine), Joy Agamao (Alfonso, Jr.) and Shirley Omila (Noel);
Grandchildren: Russell Baldugo, Mary Cion Pascua (Albert), Perla Jane Baldugo, Radley Panlasigui, Sr., Eleanor Baldugo, Danny Quibuyen, Jr.(Andrea), Oliver Quibuyen, Nelson Panlasigui, Christopher Quibuyen, Nerissa Vergara, Gigi Vergara, Sheena Vergara, Christian Omila, Alyssa Agamao, Stephanie Omila, Jemar Quibuyen, Jared Agamao, Jonathan Quibuyen and Jerlaine Quibuyen;
Brothers and Sisters: Andres Baligad (Sabina), Clemente Baligad, Segundina Lacuesta (Crescencio), Benjamin Baligad,Sr., Teresa Grande (Antonio) and Jose Baligad,Sr. (Rosalinda);
And 26 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews, step great grandchildren and hanai family.
Predeceased by: husband, Claudio M. Quibuyen,Sr., son, Claudio Quibuyen,Jr., son in-law, Nestor Panlasigui, brother, Pedro Baligad,Sr., sisters in-law, Justina and Erlinda Baligad.
Visitation to her wake service will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m., Friday, August 1, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; prayer service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Visitation to her funeral service will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa; with Mass to begin at 11:15 a.m. and burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
