Maria "Pazie" Paz Abogado Kahooilihala's Obituary
Maria “Pazie” Paz Abogado Kahooilihala, a resident of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Straub Clinic and Hospital she was 82 years old. She was born to Maria (Abayan) and Vicente A. Abogado in Manila, Philippines on January 24, 1934. She was a retired employee with Consolidated Theatres, Kahala.
She is survived by her sons, John “Baba” Kahooilihala, Donald Kahooilihala, Timothy Kahooilihala and Jerry Kahooilihala; daughter, Elva “Puanani” Kahooilihala-Gamiao; sisters, Clarita Groth, Marcelina “Nanette” Gersner and Lilia Camacho; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Service for Maria will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.; service to begin at 11:30 a.m. burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
