Mario Aguinaldo's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Mario Aguinaldo
June 8th, 1958 – July 30th, 2025
We celebrate the beautiful life of Mario Aguinaldo, a supportive and compassionate man whose kindness often arrived on a plate of home-cooked food.
Born on June 8th, 1958 in Honolulu, HI, Mario spent his life in the city he loved. The kitchen was his happiest spot, and friends knew that if they smelled something wonderful, Mario was nearby with a smile and a serving spoon.
Family always came first. Mario’s daughter, Breezie Aguinaldo, and his six treasured grandchildren filled his days with laughter and purpose. He shared a close bond with his mother, Lolita C. Aguinaldo, and grew up side-by-side with his siblings—Lorna Luis, Miguel Aguinaldo Jr., Laureen Cabodol, Myron Aguinaldo, and Michael Aguinaldo. Whether cheering someone on, offering a listening ear, or quietly lending a hand, Mario showed up with loyalty and empathy.
Supportive, empathetic, loyal, and compassionate—these traits guided each choice he made. Family meals, neighborhood gatherings, and simple weeknight chats were brighter because Mario was there, ready to share encouragement and a hearty serving of whatever was simmering on the stove.
Mario passed away on July 30th, 2025 in Honolulu, HI. Today we choose joy in remembering him. Each time we cook for someone we love, lend help without being asked, or practice gentle understanding, we carry Mario’s spirit forward.
He lived well, loved deeply, and left us better than he found us.
