As the first Lee Loy grandaughter and the second McGregor grandaughter she was doted upon. In 1951, the family moved to Oʻahu, settling at their Puna st home in 1952. She worked at Liberty House, the Hawaʻi State Senate’s Sergeant of Arms and retired as a microphotographer for the State of Hawaiʻi Bureau of Conveyances. She enjoyed being a docent for the Judiciary History Center, a deaconess at Central Union Church and a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club (BPW), Honolulu Hawaiian Civic Club, YWCA Federation Club and the Democratic Party.
