Mauro Herreria's Obituary
Mauro Almeron Herreria, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away September 7, 2017 at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu. He was born August 15, 1933 in Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines to parents Silverio Buac Herreria and Marcelina Almeron Herreria, and was a retired tailor for Andy Mohan Tailoring and a maintenance man for the Hawaii State Judiciary. He also owned Necker's Tailoring in the Philippines.
He is survived by beloved wife, Lydia C. Herreria; children, Sharon C. (Alida "Bee") Herreria, Edmundo "Eddie" (Kelsie) Herreria and Thelma (Reuben) Arreola; 6 grandchildren, Jizelle, Mason, Ethan, Dameon, Sophia and Alucard; brothers, Jaime Herreria, Rodrigo Herreria, Ricardo Herreria and Bonifacio Herreria.
A wake service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 6:30 p.m. A second visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at St. Philomena Catholic Church., 3300 Ala Laulani Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96818. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
