Mauro Fabian Valentin's Obituary
Mauro Fabian Valentin, 72, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. He was born on October 28, 1945 in Bayombong, Philippines. He was employed at Hyatt Regency Waikiki for 26 years. He retired at the age of 66. During his retirement he took care of his first and only grandson Aiden Max. He made him breakfast and brought him to school and also picked him up after school. He loved spending time with his family, singing songs, shopping for Polo clothes, and traveling to San Francisco to visit his family, sisters, and their families. He loved boxing, watching the Golden State Warriors, and 49ers.
He is survived by his wife, Luvimina; children, Maureen (Jeffrey Lucas and Aiden Max Lucas), Lalaine, Richie (Cynthia Fletchetero Valentin and Cambrie Valentin); sisters, Amelia Santos and Alma Bishop.
Services for Mauro will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea Chapel starting at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples starting at 3:30 pm.
