Maxima Cabbab Ellazar's Obituary
Maxima Cabbab Ellazar was born on May 29, 1938, in Burgos, Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, to Mariano and Felomina Cabbab. She later made her home in Hawaiʻi, where she built a life rooted in dedication to family and honest work. Maxima was a skilled seamstress, known for her diligence, patience, and the care she put into everything she created. Through her work and quiet strength, she provided for her family and left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
On April 3, 2026, Maxima passed away peacefully in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. She was a loving mother and proud grandmother whose life was centered on her children and extended family. She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Nazareno and Emelie Soriana; and her sons, Robert Ellazar, Mendrado Ellazar, Crisanto Ellazar, Herman Ellazar, Vicente Ellazar, and Hipolito Ellazar. She is also lovingly remembered by her 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Maxima’s legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured with love, perseverance, and devotion.
