Milan Kamber's Obituary
Milan Kamber, 74, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Milan was born in Knin, Croatia and started with just a shirt on his back. He fearlessly left his birth country and travelled in search for his destiny. Starting off as a fisherman, he soon became a ship captain and eventually built his own fishing fleet. Milan was the most fearless and hard working man that his family, friends, and colleagues have ever known. His work ethic, warm heart, and utmost generosity touched the hearts of many people across the entire world. He lived and sacrificed himself for his family and friends and his selfless acts will always be remembered.
Milan is survived by his children; Aleksandar Kamber, Marko Kamber, and Melissa Kamber; nephew, Nikola Kamber; sister, Nevenka Kamber; and grandson, Sebastian Kamber-Orbon.
Services for Milan will be at Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Pacific, 930 Lunalilo Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96822, on Thursday, January 18, 2018 starting at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples, 47-200 Kahekili Hwy, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744 at 1:30 pm.
