Today, we celebrate the beautiful life of Robert Gerald Fernandez SR., a man whose confident spirit and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Born on February 20th, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Robert's journey was shaped by his passion for working on cars, a pursuit that reflected his intelligent mind and determined spirit. He also loved going to chicken fights to pass the time as well.
Robert was a loving husband to Quannette Fernandez, and a devoted father to his son Robert Gerald (Nalani) Fernandez JR and daughters Suezette Raelyn (Allen) Fernandez Knock and Bernadette Marlene (Robert) Fernandez Santos. His sisters, Loretta Szubinski and Betty Ann Kim, shared in his life's stories and cherished memories.
His legacy lives on through his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Known for his confidence, compassion, honesty, and determination, Robert's vibrant personality touched the hearts of those around him. He will be remembered for his unwavering integrity and the joy he brought to every gathering.
As we reflect on his life, let us cherish the happy memories and celebrate the impact he made on our lives.
Services to be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 2025 from 10am-2pm at Valley of the Temples Mortuary Makai Chapel. Burial to follow at 2pm.
