Celebrating the Life of Robert "Bobby" "Bob" Galveso, who passed away in Kailua on April 4, 2014. He was born on February 12, 1955 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Baldomero Galveso and Margaret Limpahan; Robert was the youngest of three children. He attended Kailua Mission School, Kailua High School and Junior College in Santa Cruz, California. Upon graduation, he worked for several companies: as a computer technician for Measurex in San Jose, California, as a salesman for K&L Auto Parts, a salesman for Lawson Products and a skilled maintenance employee for Costco Wholesale in Hawaii Kai; he retired in 2008. He married Kathleen Ann Linn on November 1, 1994 in Hilo, Hawaii. He lived in San Jose, California, Waimanalo, Kailua, Hilo and Spokane, Washington. He had many friends from California, Washington, Hilo, Kailua and Waimanalo.
He was a happy, organized, outgoing, funny, lovable person, awesome cook who loved riding his Harley Davidson, coaching girls' soccer and always loved polishing his Chevy truck. His most important events in life were his marriage and the birth of his three daughters. He was a member of Hope Chapel Olomana and coached girls soccer through Kailua AYSO and Hawaii Youth Soccer Association ("HYSA").
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Galveso; daughters, Danielle, Jamielin and Hannah Galveso; sisters, Susan (Tom) St. Germain and Erlinda "Linda" Texeira.
His Celebration of life service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday May 9, 2014 at Hope Chapel Olomana (1020 Keolu Drive Kailua); visitation to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial service to follow 2:00 p.m. at Valley of The Temples Memorial Park
