Rodolfo “Uppo” Polendey, 91, of Kaneohe, passed away on May 5, 2015. He was born in Pugaoan, Pinili, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was retired Groundskeeper at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
He is survived by sons, Jessie (Lilia) and Henry Polendey; daughters, Patricia (Ric) Herbon, Carmelita Cascasan, Myrna (Willie) Pagdilao, Connie (Rey) De Peralta, Rebecca (Noel) Gamiao and Mebelin (Thomas) Saylor; 14 grandchildren. Jonathan (Iris) Herbon, Ronald Herbon, Janet (Sam) Malani, Chris Herbon, Sharon Herbon, Irene (Jayme) Higa, Glenn Cascasan, Eileen Cascasan, Desiree (Travis) Koki, Dennis (Jane) Pagdilao, Melissa (Brian) Pilcher, Richard Gamiao, Matthew Saylor and Cassandra Saylor, 12 great-grandchildren; Nathan, Jay Angelo, Significance, Freedom, Kailee, Kaiana, Konnor Jarin, Kelsey, Carly, Skylynn, Gavin, and Liam Reese; brother, Ernesto Polendey of Mindoro, Philippines; Preceded in death by parents, Marcos and Segunda Polendey; daughter, Nelia Polendey; grandson, Joseph Pagdilao; son-in-law, Balthazar Cascasan.
Visitation: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; Service: 6:30 p.m.
Continuing Visitation: 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary, with burial to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park
