Romeo Collado Barnatia's Obituary
Romeo “Romy” Collado Barnatia, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, passed away October 20, 2017 in Honolulu at the age of 57. He was born in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on October 10, 1961 to parents Arturo Barnatia and Maria Collado Barnatia. Romy loved his family and his work, was very considerate of his fellow employees, and his entire career was as a housekeeper at the renowned Halekulani Hotel.
He is survived by loving and devoted wife, Evelyn Macaraeg Barnatia; son, Bernard Joseph Barnatia; daughters, April (Joe) Liwai and Romilyn Barnatia; grandson, Jaxon Lebron Liwai; mother, Maria Barnatia; sisters, Mercy Villaluz, Lolita Rillon, Lulu Diamante and Mary Jane Atienza; many nieces and nephews.
Wake services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Additional services will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at the Co-Cathedral of Saint Theresa. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., and burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
