Rosalina Quintinita's Obituary
Rosalina Tejada Quintinita, 76, of Tucson, Arizona and formerly of Honolulu, passed away February 12, 2016 in Tucson. She was born in Pangasinan, Philippines on December 28, 1939 to parents Juan Tejada and Anatalia Pacanas Tejada. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rufino Quintinita, in 2002. In 2013, she moved to Tucson to live with her daughter Loretta. Although she was primarily a homemaker, she also worked at Menehune Mac Candies and the Arcadia Retirement Residence. She was a loving mom, grandma, sister, a good friend, and a great cook, who liked growing vegetables in her garden in Wahiawa.
She is survived by son, Joseph Dylan Quintinita; daughters, Loretta Payne and Rosemarie Quintinita; brother, Dan Tejada; sisters, Teresita Tolentino, Mila Buquing, Remidios Samonte and Florita Blanco; four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa in Honolulu. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.. Flowers are welcome. Casual attire is suggested. Monetary donations are accepted, but not necessary.
